At the K2013 in Düsseldorf, GÜNTHER Hot-Runner Technology will once again present new products and further developments to provide new solutions for mould making.
In particular where small and tiny components are concerned, the option of having moulds with a high number of cavities in very little space is interesting from an economical perspective. This allows the use of more compact injection moulding machines with higher energy efficiency and lower requirement in terms of production floor space. Our nozzles for side gating, e.g. the OktaFlow® series, and multi-tip nozzles for micro injection moulding machines cater to this market requirement. Furthermore, a growing trend in the direction of valve-gate systems – in particular with electrical needle drives – is clearly recognizable. Whereas valve-gate systems were mainly activated pneumatically or hydraulically up to recently, electrically activated valve-gate systems are increasingly in evidence nowadays.
Servo motors or stepper motors and electromagnets are used for this purpose. These systems are very suitable in combination with electric injection moulding machines and are distinguished by an efficient, precise and clean mode of operation. These types of drives meet the most stringent clean-room requirements.
The trade-fair presentation will mostly focus on:
• energy efficiency and flexibility in design– BlueFlow® hot-runner nozzles
• hot-runner nozzles for side gating – OktaFlow®
• hot-runner nozzles for micro-injection-moulding machines
• fast and powerful valve-gate technology with electric actuation
Traditionally GÜNTHER has supplied its solutions in a broad industry mix, such as automotive, electrical engineering, packaging, household goods, and consumer goods. The business segment of medical technology has grown considerably over the past few years.

Since 1983 GÜNTHER Heisskanaltechnik has passionately dedicated itself to producing hot runner systems and nozzles for the plastics industry. We have not only directly experienced all stages of development in hot runner technology, but we have actively participated in this process.
For a company that wants to compete in the market in the long run it is crucial to be always one step ahead. Innovation is the key word. Innovation does not mean using trends, but setting trends. This is the path we have always followed. Today we are among the leading manufacturers of hot runner systems, from precise standard and complete systems to customized products.
With our team of almost 200 excellently trained staff members we set new standards, from technical advice to design and engineering to production and commissioning of complex hot runner systems.
Visit us at the K exhibition. We would be pleased to meet you on our booth (hall 1, booth D42).
