Offering visionary industry solutions in the field of plastics trimming is one of Maka’s key goals. This reveals that the reduction of non-productive times has become a standard in the machine development. High positioning speed rates and accuracy as well as rapid tool changes will be the key to a company’s success, as these options keep reducing non-productive times to a minimum. With tool shuttle solutions and high-speed machines on the basis of conventional drive technology Maka managed to meet this aim and to fulfill customers’ requirements of a high output at maximum flexibility.
The company’s repositioning of the past 12 months enables Maka to flexibly re- spond to the market’s demands: the product range for the first time comprises basic constructions of various machine series, which can be delivered in a prompt and timely manner. The advanced versions include modular-extensible industry solutions, that base on a modular concept to be tailored according to special demands as well as high-end special solutions with turn-key packages for the successful realization of comprehensive system solutions including their automation.
Working with CNC processed carbon components or other fibre composites has been intensified by manufacturers from the automotive, aerospace, railway and yacht building industries for many years. Maka’s CNC series have been conceived for high-dynamic, optimum routing performances and guarantee superior quality in the processing of deep-drawn GRP and CRP moulds.
60 years experience in the construction of CNC machining centres are the basis for a successful supply of future-orientated solutions in a continually growing market. Only the interaction of rapid machining, first-class quality and high flexibility guarantees users some decisive advantages in a fierce competition, which confronts suppliers with an ever growing diversity of variants and a rapid availability of components.
In hall A1, stand 1431 Maka will present an overview on repositioning, machine series and technical highlights:
• A high-speed machine, which impresses with feed speed drives of 100 m/min in X and Y and 90 m/min in Z;
• A tool shuttle solution, which minimizes tool change times and which has become a standard feature for machining centres used in the automotive industry.
As a basic version the company offers the compact MK 7 CNC model. The prime goal of this machine in mono-bloc construction comprises routing and trimming performances of thermoplastic and plastic material and convinces by its high-class machining quality at maximum feed speed rates. The construction, completely closed at the bottom and lateral sides, enables an optimum chip evacuation. It is available in 3 different types of working units which enables Maka to respond to any application requirement in the sector of plastics trimming.
MAKA MK 7
The stationary portal series MM 7, a twin-table machine, which can be fitted with two working units, is predestined for rapid routing and trimming of plastics and compound material. This 5-axis technology concept permits sawing, routing and drilling performances of multiple sides in only one clamping cycle. Maka’s CNC engineers will be at customers’ disposal to discuss their individual requirements in detail, as always.
